Job description:


SALES


- Adopt a strong sales focus and lead by example;
- Use the ‘5 Steps of Selling’ and 'Four Elements of Service' techniques to close sales successfully and support in driving your team to emulate your success;
- Communicate targets regularly and clearly to the team so that they understand their goals and strive to achieve them;
- Analyse, understand and utilise data such as trade reports, footfall data, mystery shop reports to focus the team on store KPIs that need to be achieved;
- Have an awareness of your local, national and online competitors, monitoring developments closely to ensure that your store is the leader in sales performance
and in-store experience.

PEOPLE

- Support the Store/Concession Manager to recruit, lead, train, performance manage, coach and mentor the team on all aspects of the business;
- Assist with developing your team to increase store and personal performance;
- Act as a role model for the team and lead by example to effectively communicate your expectations and those of the business;
- Support with planning fair and effective rotas that are conducive to meeting the needs of the business;
- Assist with HR processes such as disciplinary procedures, including investigations (with the guidance of your Manager and HR).

STOCK


-Maintain your min/max stock control to ensure correct stock levels consistently;
- Ensure stock control measures are in place and all team members are aware of security and loss prevention procedures;
- With your Manager, conduct a thorough stock take process effective planning and preparation in line with Company policy to achieve target;
- Monitor and improve stock turn and stock loss ratios.

INTERNAL

- Support the Store/Concession Manager to promote a ‘one team’ mentality and instil a culture that nurtures happy, engaged, high performing people;
- Be able to deliver feedback regularly and consistently through 1-2-1 meetings, team meetings, appraisals and inductions (as required);
- Effectively manage any staff issues in your store as they arise, liaising with your line manager or HR where appropriate;
- Be an effective communicator, striving to influence all key stakeholders in the business.

EXTERNAL


- Ensure an exceptional level of customer service in store, so that customers leave with products to cherish and a positive experience with the brand to share with
others;
- Develop long lasting customer relationships and work closely with the host store and shopping centre management (depending on location), to ensure you are
aware of what is happening in your local area;
- Support your Manager to identify and generate marketing opportunities and VIP events through networking with local press and partnering with your Area Manager and the Marketing team in our UK Head Office.
