The hoardings had a point. Promise.
We know they weren’t exactly the most exciting thing to look at. But behind them, we’ve been busy making room for an impressive line-up of new brands.
This Autumn/Winter, discover Lefties, Bershka and Hollister for new-season fashion, alongside the newly opened Space NK and PureSeoul for cult beauty, skincare and fragrance.
LEGO has arrived with something for builders of every age, while Ernest Jones brings jewellery, watches and gift-worthy sparkle to the line-up.
The hoardings are coming down. The doors are opening. And yes, there really is a lot to see.
Yes, there are places to sit
We took another look at Lakeside too.
That’s why we’ve invested in uplifting our communal spaces, improving the overall look and feel of the centre and introducing new furniture where you can sit down, regroup and admire the bags you definitely didn’t intend to fill.
Because a great shopping trip needs more than great shops. It needs comfortable places to pause, catch up and decide whether going back for that jacket is a good idea.
It probably is.

Outside, The Quay gives you room to step away from the shops and enjoy Lakeside from a different perspective.
