Job Description:

Position Overview:

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead and manage our Lakeside Store for a premium home fragrance brand. The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of store operations, drive sales and revenue growth, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for luxury home fragrance products, and the ability to create a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

· Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a team of sales associates to provide exceptional customer service.

· Set performance expectations and provide regular feedback to drive sales targets and overall team performance.

· Foster a positive and motivating work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and brand values.

· Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, strategies, and updates.

Sales and Revenue Growth:

· Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximise store revenue and achieve sales targets.

· Monitor sales performance and analyse key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

· Collaborate with the marketing team and influencers to execute promotional activities, events, and campaigns to drive customer traffic and sales.

· Provide product knowledge and training to the sales team to enhance their ability to upsell and cross-sell.

Customer Experience:

· Ensure all customers receive exceptional service and a positive shopping experience.

· Maintain a deep understanding of the brand's products and educate customers on their features, benefits, and usage.

· Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

· Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.

· Maintain high mystery shopping scores.

Store Operations:

· Oversee day-to-day store operations, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and cleanliness.

· Monitor and maintain stock levels to ensure products are readily available for customers.

· Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and ensure store security.

· Analyse sales and operational reports to identify trends and make data-driven decisions for optimising store performance.

Brand Ambassador:

· Act as a brand ambassador and represent the company's values and image professionally.

· Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide recommendations for business growth.

· Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the brand and build relationships.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a store manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably within the retail industry, with a focus on luxury or premium brands.

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, employees, and stakeholders.

- Deep knowledge and passion for home fragrance products and luxury brands.

- Strong business acumen and analytical skills to drive operational efficiency and profitability.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.

- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software.
