Our security team and staff are dedicated to keeping you safe. Working closely with our state-of-the-art CCTV control room, they are always on the lookout for anyone who needs help. Don’t be surprised if they come and say hello.

We are also closely partnered with Essex Police to ensure the safety of all our guests. You might see Essex Police’s specially trained Project Servator officers carrying out their Project Servator deployments. These highly visible operations are designed to disrupt a wide range of criminal activities, including terrorism.

The officers are specially trained to spot the tell-tale signs that someone may be planning or preparing to commit a crime. They work with our security team and local businesses to maintain a constant network of vigilance.

You can help keep everyone safe by reporting anything that doesn’t feel right. Don’t hesitate to report anything suspicious, no matter how minor it may seem. Trust your instincts—we do.

Our specially trained #ProjectSeravtor officers set up a vehicle checkpoint at Lakeside as they continue to work to keep people safe. We stopped drivers, spoke to them and their passengers, and checked vehicles. We took the opportunity to tell people about Project Servator and encouraged them to report anything they saw or heard that didn’t seem right. Project Servator is a policing tactic that aims to disrupt a range of criminal activity, including terrorism, while providing a reassuring presence for the public.Although Project Servator deployments are different to normal police operations, there’s nothing to worry about.
