Summer Activities at Hamleys

Summertime for kids is defined by warm weather, time off from school & dip in swimming pools. This year, Hamleys have launched their Summer Campaign “Imagination” with the theme 'Team Space' to spark curiosity and participation and encourage kids to step into meaningful play by elevating their creativity at Lakeside through a wide range of fun, daily experiences.

Join in the fun from Monday 4th July - 30th September

Team Space Activations:

• Space Hopper Races
  • Space Hopper Races will be a high-energy activation and will bring a high level of excitement! We will be sourcing space hoppers for the children to race around the store in order to claim their giveaway.
  • When: Every day at 1.30 pm and 2.30 pm

• Astronaut Says!
  • An intergalactic take on Simon Says! We will be sourcing astronaut costumes for each store. This activation will just need one member of staff. The astronaut will give instructions e.g., ‘Astronaut says moon walk’ etc. and the little ones do as the astronaut says.
  • When: Every day at 11.00am and 3.30pm

• Solar Search! COMING SOON
  • The whole solar system is hidden in one store! We are still finalizing the specifics for this. Essentially, we will have 8 planets hidden around the store (similar to Easter/Jubilee hunt). Each planet will have a letter on it, spelling out a word e.g., UNIVERSE. Once all letters have been found, the child will have to put them all together and work out what the word is to receive a giveaway
