Shop SS23 With Abi & Chloe

When I pulled up to Lakeside last week I had a mission, a mission to find something bright and fun to add to my wardrobe for summer. After getting side-tracked in the Primark home section (my favourite section) we began our search, and OH DID I FIND IT!

I wandered into the Stradivarius and found this stunning yellow denim jacket and coordinating midi skirt and could have screamed because it was perfect! Denim midi skirts are having quite a moment this year, and I’m all for them! I love a co-ord for summer too because you can wear them together or separately and get so much wear out of them both.

Both items were £29.99 and I also noticed they had a gorgeous pink colourway too, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Opposite Stradivarius in Lakeside is a Pull & Bear and that’s where I found a fab white basic crop top to pair with the co-ord - I could have introduced another colour like purple to really make the outfit pop, but I wanted the midi skirt and jacket to be the star of the show!

To finish off the look I went into ALDO for a pair of sunglasses and I found these gorgeous tortoise print ones which were just over £10! They’re the perfect size, I know I’ll be getting so much wear out of them this summer.

After securing the summer outfit of the YEAR, I actually fell into Primark again - completely by accident!

Summer is fast approaching and after heading to Lakeside, I now have the BEST pieces to spice up my spring/summer wardrobe!!

First off, we headed to the best Primark in the UK (not official, but my very honest opinion hehe), there were so many pieces from swimwear, casual tees and lounge sets to more formal holiday evening outfits and summer workwear staples! Remember to get there early on in your trip to find the best clothes.

New Look had some stunning pieces, perfect for holiday with a wide range of sizing available in store too. Make sure you check out the shoes for some perfect sandals to take away with you this summer.

We also visited River Studios- a stunningly refurbished River Island. It honestly took all my willpower to not buy everything in the store because it was so gorgeously merchandised! There was even a little coffee truck at the back of the store. Don't forget to check out the changing rooms in there too- the lighting is stunning and the futuristic technology made me feel like Cher from Clueless!!

My final winning dress is from H&L- the perfect destination for super trendy and wearable pieces. The sandals are from Aldo- the comfiest and most versatile slip on sandals are going to be perfect all summer long. The jacket caught my eye in New Look, a very easy way to incorporate the utility trend without committing to cargos. Finally, I thought the orange bag was a perfect way to add a pop of colour to the neutral outfit!!
