Purpose of the Role
To be a key player in the Marketing Department. To provide support to deliver annual marketing plans for Lakeside Shopping Centre to support key business objectives and implement the annual marketing strategy and calendar.

To develop and implement the digital communication strategy for Lakeside Shopping centre across all digital mediums. Delivering brand messaging and retailer specific content to drive awareness and engagement leading to an increase in footfall.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive to deliver the annual business marketing plan.

Working with the Marketing Executive, implement the (digital) marketing strategy, developing interesting and engaging content to increase visitors, registrations, fans and followers.

Develop and implement the centre’s social media strategy, identifying and curating engaging content from within the centre, CSR, Commercialisation and brands amplifying across the centre’s digital platforms.

Management of the content within the centre website, to be the main point of contact for retailers and internal team for content curation, work with the website hosting agency to continue to improve the customer experience.

Work with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive to understand, manage and grow the centre’s database as a tool for segmentation and communication to drive registrations.

Responsible for the implementation of content onto the digital screens in centre and the relationship with the various suppliers.

Produce detailed monthly digital reports and provide results.

Working with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Executive to create and implement a strategy for the Lakeside Stylist driving awareness to drive visitation and sales.

Working with the Marketing Manager to support the photographer/videographer with content curation in centre, compiling of briefs, on site point of contact.

Support the Marketing Executive with regular retailer meetings; manage retailer communications/offers generation and general liaison.

Build strong relationships with retailers to drive content for marketing activity, including online, social media and events.

Main point of contact for retailers for all brand promotions to generate engaging content to push out across our digital channels, driving awareness of brands within the centre.

Support the Marketing Executive with the implementation and management of centre events including some evening and weekend working. To achieve marketing objectives in line with the overall strategy.

To support the Marketing Executive in the creation of marketing assets to support Commercialisation, Operations and CSR team at centre, identifying opportunities to promote to our audience across our digital channels.

Continually evaluate all marketing campaigns and activities to ensure they remain within budget and can demonstrate a return on investment.

Be aware of budget constraints and use cost management processes to control key areas of budget/expenditure and report regularly to the Marketing Executive as part of budget discussions.

Implementation of all print production and centre literature; brand campaigns, events, customer focussed and operational signage.

Manage out of hours social media channels for customer queries/crisis management situations.

Manage production of requisitions for marketing purchase orders and keep a log of all expenditure on the budget tracking system.

Provide administrative support where required and work in conjunction with the wider centre team to maintain consistently high standards within the centre.

General support for a busy and energetic marketing team.

To work on centre specific projects as and when required.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Proven marketing experience with demonstrable 2+ years in a previous marketing role.

Previous digital marketing experience, ideally 2+ years.

Proven experience at delivering projects, to time and on budget.

Industry recognised marketing qualification (CIM or degree equivalent) is desirable but not essential.

Retail, hospitality, or consumer brand experience is desirable but
